FAQ

Integrated hot tub: the stove is hidden under the bottom of the tub, and the location of the stove creates an extra seat in the tub for smaller users, so there is no situation where a toddler has to stand up in the hot tub. It is also possible for an adult to rest on an elevated place if there is too much water up to his neck. A hot tub with an integrated stove also looks more compact. Maintenance of the stove is a little more complicated than with an external stove.

Hot tub with outdoor stove: The stove is located outside the tub and the seating area of the hot tub is uniform. It can accommodate more adults and there is no seating for smaller users. A hot tub with an outdoor stove is easier to maintain, but it also loses its compactness.

How to heat a hot tub?

– Heating may only be started when the openings coming from the stove are completely submerged!

– Heating may only be started when the openings coming from the stove are completely submerged!

– Heating takes up to 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the barrel and the outside temperature.

– Water should only be drained from the barrel when the fire in the oven has completely gone out, preferably the next day.

– PVC coating is affordable, but in winter, snow must be removed to prevent stretching. It also collects dust and dirt, which can get into the water with rain.

-The plastic dome cover is durable, but heavy and difficult to remove alone. Also, dirt can scratch the edges of the barrel.

– A thermal cover is the best choice: it keeps you warm, protects the cover from stretching and allows you to lock it.

The installation of a ready-made sauna is quick and efficient. A crane truck brings the sauna to the plot and installs fibo blocks, which are specially designed to support the sauna’s foundation and ensure its stability. The sauna is then easily lifted into place using a crane. The entire installation process is managed by an experienced and professional employee, who ensures that the sauna is installed correctly and safely. This is a great option if you want a quick and efficient installation without complicated construction processes and additional costs.

The installation of the sauna is very flexible. The sauna can be placed in different places on the plot according to your wishes and preferences. With the help of fibo blocks, the sauna base can be adjusted to the slopes and unevenness of the plot. This means that the sauna can be installed on any plot, regardless of its shape and size. Also, during the installation process, various aspects, such as a sunny or shady location, can be taken into account to ensure maximum comfort and enjoyment. Thus, the sauna installation is flexible and allows you to adjust the location of the sauna according to the customer’s needs

The price of transportation depends on how far the sauna or hot tub needs to be transported. You can get an additional quote for transportation by specifying your location and the distance you need to travel. The prices for saunas and hot tubs do not include transportation, so you should consider the additional cost if you want to transport your sauna or hot tub.

1. Re-lay the heater stones at least once a year and replace the old stones with new ones if necessary.

Replacing and re-laying stones is one of the most effective maintenance tips for saving energy. If air can circulate properly in the heater, the sauna will heat up faster and the heater will use less energy to heat the steam room.

We recommend that you replace the stones at least once a year, but if you use the sauna frequently, it would be a good idea to do this more often. Large temperature fluctuations cause the heater stones to slowly but gradually break down when used in the sauna. At the same time, all pieces of stone are removed from the bottom of the heater and broken stones are replaced with new ones. This way, the heater’s heating capacity remains optimal and there is no risk of overheating. You should read the instructions for installing the stones in your heater’s user manual.

The most important thing is to choose a heater that suits your sauna preferences. In my opinion, sauna users who have a large stone column heater are often more satisfied with lower temperatures. The large stone mass provides a nice, soft steam. In heaters with a larger stone volume, such as the Harvia Legend, Cilindro and Glow heaters, the stones retain heat and warm the surrounding space for a long time after the heater is turned off.

The airy arrangement of stones and stones in good condition also provide a better steam experience and speed up the heating of the steam room, as warm air is better transferred to the surrounding steam room.

For those who enjoy higher temperatures, I recommend heaters with a smaller stone mass, good examples of which are the Harvia Virta and Wall heaters.
3. Make sure you are using a heater with the correct power

It is important to choose the heater power according to the volume of the steam room and the materials used in it. If the heater is too powerful for the volume of the sauna, it may heat the steam room quickly, but it does not give the stones enough time to store the heat, which is important when throwing steam. In this case, heating the stones a second time takes extra time. If the heater is too small for the volume of the steam room, it may take too long to reach the desired temperature and the heating elements may wear out faster due to excessive use. A longer heating time also means that energy is being removed from the steam room for a longer period of time, although a large part of the heat is being transferred elsewhere in the apartment.

All saunas need some kind of ventilation system to allow air to circulate/cycle in the sauna. If no one is using the sauna and there is no humidity, ventilation is not necessary. If possible, keep the ventilation openings closed while the sauna is heating. This helps to retain heat in the sauna and the desired temperature is reached more quickly. When entering the sauna and steaming, the ventilation openings should be opened to allow fresh air in. Excessive ventilation can mean that heat escapes the sauna too soon. Too little ventilation can make it difficult to breathe. Lack of ventilation also makes it difficult to dry the sauna.5. Avoid unnecessary heating of the sauna and shorten the time spent in the sauna

Enter the sauna as soon as it has reached the desired temperature and turn it off immediately after taking a steam bath. A 15-minute sauna session is enough to have a positive effect on your health.
6. Do not keep the door open longer than necessary

When you open the sauna door, the heat moves from there to the rest of the apartment. It is not worth opening the door unnecessarily. After a sauna session, you can leave the sauna door open and the heat will transfer to the bathroom and allow the sauna to dry at the same time.
